This might just be that you put too many arguments when creating the panel. (happened to me once)

wxPanel* myPanel = new wxPanel(this);

this should be all you need, maybe just add ID if you need to catch events

Of course I cann't call it, because also I don't have the parameters to call it since I am using wxwidgets instead of glut. I just need some command of glut. i usually make up parameters int argc = 0; char** argv = NULL; glutInit(&argc, argv); Perhaps not the cleanest way to go but works fine on bo...

i am using Mircosoft Visual C++. But if i load the programm into the debugger, i tell me what i wrote. what's a backtrace?
I would highly suggest investing time to learn to use a debugger. Doing C++ without debugger is... not recommended.

Sticky: Please ask wxDev-C++ related issues in the wxDev-C++ forum
If your question is wxDevCpp specific, better ask in the wxDecC++ section of the forums, people there will know how to answer more specifically

Hmm just a question... why are you building apps for classic only? That's long deprecated Anyway it seems like a bug - it might be interesting to also test it on wxGTK see how it behaves there, but otherwise i haven't been able to find a solution to this (but... what are you trying to do anyway? to ...

Did you say Cocoa? wxCocoa is not anywhere as stable as wxMac, you should not use it for making apps

But also maybe you just didn't use the right word - in this case providing a sample that compiles would be interesting

Hi, could you provide more information? What is your system, your compiler, your wxWidgets version, your compiler, etc.

It seems like you're not linking properly - if you could provide the command-line arguments sent to the linker that could be of great help

Very funny... Mouse clicks are not detected, however focus events are sent to "MyFrame::OnMouseLeftUp" !!
