Re: Need help for XML Pasing

Hi. I didn't have a look at the entire code, but I can tell you something : when you create the wxXmlDocument object from the wxMemoryInputStream, they donc keep "linked" together. The wxXmlDocument parses all the datas and make a copy of the xml structure. So when you make modifications to it, thes...

Re: Simplest Form Of Creating Your Own wxButton

If this is juste for buttons, you can have a look ad the "render" sample, witch does exactly this.

Re: Getting Click Events From Dynamically Created wxButtons

Hi. You can use dynamically connected events handlers, on you can use "generic" events handlers witch dispatch the work depending on the clicked button. For dynamically connected events : wxButton *myButton = new wxButton(.........); myButton->Bind(wxEVT_BUTTON, &MyFrame::OnMyButtonClicked, this); /...

Re: [3.1.0] Button fill whole window

Hi Sizer not helps You forgot to assignt he sizer to the frame. Window::Window(const wxString& title, const wxPoint &pos, const wxSize &size, long style = wxDEFAULT_FRAME_STYLE) :wxFrame(NULL, -1, title, pos, size, style) { wxGridSizer *vbox = new wxGridSizer(2,2,10,10); vbox->Add(new wxButton(this,...

Re: CodeLite 9.1 and wxWidgets 3.1 configuration issue

Hi. Hopefully Xaviou or someone else has some better ideas. Not really :? But we can make some more tests, because I've just seen a (bug ?) problem with my version of wx-config. First, open a "command line" window. Set the WXWIN and WXCFG vars to reflect the CodeLite's ones : set WXWIN=C:\wxWidgets ...

Re: CodeLite 9.1 and wxWidgets 3.1 configuration issue

Hi -copy "gcc510TDM_x64_dll\*.*" to "c:\wxwidgets\lib\*.*" This is the source of the problem This may have changed the path that wx-config expects to find. Exactly. It would be better to remove all the content of the "lib" folder. Then re-extract the content of the archive you've downloaded as you'v...

Re: CodeLite 9.1 and wxWidgets 3.1 configuration issue

Hi ----------Building project:[ Project1 - Debug ] (Single File Build)---------- Please use the --wxcfg flag (as in wx-config --wxcfg=gcc_dll/mswud) or set the environment variable WXCFG (as in WXCFG=gcc_dll/mswud) to specify which configuration exactly you want to use. ..... Re: wxCommandEvent propagation issue

Hi. This looks like a terribly unnatural way to handle events. Well, I know  but that was the first (and simplest) way I found to acheive what I wanted to do. You should probably do something like this: - define your own event type, see event sample, wxDECLARE_EVENT, wxDEFINE_EVENT That was wh...

Re: wxCommandEvent propagation issue

Hi again... I solved the problem using the Id of the event (it was always set to wxID_ANY so I changed it in the main frame's event handler and made a test on it to see if the event has already been processed), but It doesn't explain why this arrives on some compilers, and not on others sor I don't ...

wxCommandEvent propagation issue

Hi to all. As said in the title, I have an event propagation issue. I have a main frame, and a few panels as children. I also have a "DatasManager" class witch for example, send a custom wxCommandEvent to the frame when it loads or when it creates a datas file. In the event handler of the frame, whe...

Re: Disabled toolbar items hidden under OSX

Hi to all.

It seems it was an OS-X problem.
I've juste upgraded my system to 10.11.4 and this behavior isn't present.

Thanks to all.

Re: wxRadioButton size

Hi.

Did you tried building the "controls" sample for each version of wxWidgets, to see if the same behavior occurs ?

I've tested but I can't see any difference (both version of the sample have been built on a Windows 7 machine, and runned under a Windows 10).
