Re: shlwapi.lib + version.lib not found

This time, the missing lib is "oleacc" (liboleacc.a). When you have undefined references concerning Windows APi functions, just make a google search on it and you'll get a MSDn result. In this case (https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/windows/desktop/dd318027.aspx), just go to the end of the pa...

Re: wxTextCtrl password entry with show&hide password option

Hi It may be easier to recreate a text ctrl at every toggle event, having the same size, position, value, parent [, position in sizer], and maybe also use Freeze()/Thaw() on its parent when switching the 2 controls. If you need an example, just have a look at this : this is exactly what I am doing. ...

Re: shlwapi.lib + version.lib not found

Hi

Regarding your first post, the errors you have doesn't come from a "shlwapi" or "version" libs files, but from the "uxtheme" one.

So just adding "-luxtheme" to the link command should resolve your problem.

Re: Display problems with wxBoxSizer and wxScrolled with wxWindow

Thanks. Making those controls children of panel1 did the trick. However, with your example of indentation, you deleted a bunch of the controls. So I tried doing the indentation myself, and it's not easy to do. But the window constructs like it should, so thank you! This was just a portion of code t...

Re: Display problems with wxBoxSizer and wxScrolled with wxWindow

The main problem with your code is that all your controls are direct children of the frame. But some of them sould be children of others. For example, you create a wxPanel (named panel1) and you afect a sizer to it (sizer2) But the controls managed by this sizer are children of the frame whereas the...

Re: Display problems with wxBoxSizer and wxScrolled with wxWindow

Hi.

You should post the code you use to create your interface, because without this, we can't really find where the problem is.

Re: Send Parameters to dialogs

Hi. As the dialog class will be yours, derived from wxDialog, you can make the constructor accept any parameters you'll need. And / Or you can create accessors to set the parameter. class GpoDatdlg : public wxDialog { public: GpoDatdlg(wxWindow *parent, bool lnew); ...... }; GpoDatdlg::GpoDatdlg(wxW...

Re: wxSQLIte3 from sources...

Hi. When you get a " undefined reference to .... " error, it generaly comes from the linker. And it generaly means you forgot a lib (or, in case you use gcc, your libs are not in the correct order) In your case, it seems you didn't add the wxsqlite lib to your linker options. Do it, and it should so...

Re: How to catch a wxHtmlLinkEvent from wxHtmlHelpController?

Hi. I tried your suggestion, I actually did try something similar before as well; but unfortunately I get a compilation error on the 'Connect': 'No member named 'Connect' in wxHtmlHelpController'. You're right : wxHtmlHelpController doesn't derive from wxEvtHandler. You can try this: help->GetHelpWi...

Re: wxPDFView compile problem.

Well, it depends what has been given to SetClientData. I regularly use this to itentify the wxComboBox/wxChoice entry related to an array item. So I generaly put a single index as ClientData (casted with wxUIntPtr) so I can quickly retreive the corresponding item in the array. I just assumed (wrongl...

Re: How to catch a wxHtmlLinkEvent from wxHtmlHelpController?

Hi. I tried to add something like this: Connect(wxID_ANY, wxEVT_HTML_LINK_CLICKED, wxHtmlLinkEventHandler(Main::linkClicked), (wxObject*) NULL, this); in the Main code but that (obviously?) doesn't work. This is probably due to the fact that then event is proceceed by the wxHtmlHelpControler before ...

Re: wxPDFView compile problem.

Hi. GetClientData returns a pointer to the data and you want the data itselves. I'm not sure this is right : GetClientData returns a value associated to a wxComboBox item as a pointer. But generary, one just want this value "as is" (and converted to a (unsigned) int/long). @dkaip: you can use wx ( U...

Re: extract scanned image from pdf

Hi.

Perhaps you can try building PoDoFo lib anf use it in your project

I did not try it myself, but it comes with a tool named "podofoimgextract" witch should do the job (or witch you can inspire yourself from).

I could not faind any build version of the lib so I can't test : sorry.

Re: extract scanned image from pdf

Hi. You can easily do it "from scratch". I've juste made a test with such a pdf file using an Hex Editor (https://mh-nexus.de/en/hxd) to see how a jpeg image is stored. First comes the pdf headers, then some infos about the objet itself (in that case, a jpeg image) and then the datas of the object: ...

Re: Why there is no compiled WxWidgets version?

Yes I prefer to get the sorces, or to be more precise headers, from the official site and avoid git. git is not mandatory : I also provide a sources archive. Is there some kind of reedmee about how to bring the sorces and this compiled libs together, so it´ll worck in Code Blocks? I wrote a small a...
