Re: shlwapi.lib + version.lib not found

Hurrah. I put "libshlwapi.a" libversion.a + "to the folder wxwidgets-3.1.0 -> build -> MSW / ... exactly as they are = without renaming and other changes. Compiling with my parameters: mingw32-make -f makefile.gcc USE_XRC=1 BUILD=release SHARED=0 MONOLITHIC=1 UNICODE=1 USE_OPENGL=1 is underway witho...

Re: shlwapi.lib + version.lib not found

Hi DoubleMax, thank you for your response. I found these libraries, but it is not clear to me where I have to insert. I am currently finalizing a compilation of dynamic libraries. Subsequently I try a static library.

shlwapi.lib + version.lib not found

Hello. I read that without shlwapi.lib + version.lib can not assemble wxWidgets 3.1.0. With Win 7 x64 it is true - for Win XP, I've compiled a monolithic libraries ok (r+d). This complication, however, is very annoying and stupid when those two libraries can not be found. A big step back - in terms ...

Re: Mixing wxCloseEvent and wxCommandEvent in one event

Hi, doublemax. Thanks very much, your solutions to me (as always) really helped. My problem was that I was repeatedly removed the blank page. See: "Trying to remove file 'page1.htm' from memory VFS, but it is not loaded!". And I do not know a method to test that the page is not loaded. So I made adj...

Re: Resizing A Panel

Hi, i use wxFormBuider. There are parameters such as minimum size (Width, Height), factory set as (-1, -1). It's a very sensitive issue and requires a lot of experimentation. wxFormBuilder looks different in the designer of the program and otherwise when transmit parameters, eg. in Code::Blocks.

Example (sorry i using czech langue, or svk): 1. case: wxString to double: wxString m_kw_0 = m_textCtrl100B->GetValue(); double kwd_0 = 0.0; wxNumberFormatter::FromString(m_kw_0, &kwd_0); 2. case: double to wxString: double m_cosFi = 0.95; wxString x_cosFi = wxEmptyStri...

Re: general

Thank you for the reply, much helped me. I mean a system Linux, which is in conjunction with wxWidgets verified and uses it more programmers. I think that Debian will probably be a good choice (and given the CodeBlocks).
