Thanks for your help guys, i think ill go with micros "guard" approach, as i would like to keep the SomeFunction() with 1 param only, and i dont really need to know the N of items in advance, i just wanna make shure i dont cause an access violation when SomeFunction() walks the array.

Thanks! :D

it seems the errors youre getting have something to do with memory management, new and debug operators, i sugest you edit your setup.h file, and set: #define wxUSE_DEBUG_CONTEXT 0 #define wxUSE_MEMORY_TRACING 0 #define wxUSE_GLOBAL_MEMORY_OPERATORS 0 #define wxUSE_DEBUG_NEW_ALWAYS 0 and recompile th...

heres a simple way: handle UI Update events, add a EVT_UPDATE_UI( ID_MY_TB_BUTTON, MyFramel::OnMyButtonUpdate ) to your event table for each button you need enabled/disabled then in their handlers: void MyFrame::OnMyButtonUpdate( wxUpdateUIEvent& event ) { // calling Enable() on the event enables / ...

This is a common problem,
open your project properties page, and under "general" change Character Set from "Use unicode character set" to Not Set
remember to do it for all configurations (debug, release, etc).

SVN "Trunk, Tags & Branches" you use them?

Ibe just started to introudce myself to version control, i started with CVS, till a friend of mine reccomended me to try SVN, so i got rid of CVS, and managed to configure my SVN server, and tortoise SVN on my work boxes. After reading some docs on SVN, i noticed that there is no single text that do...

well, about the add in dialog designer, im affraid i dont think one exsists, but as for intellisense, you dont need anything extra, instellisense does work in VC2005, and it works fine with wxWidgets. As for the help being integrated in the IDEs help, look here http://forums.wxwidgets.org/viewtopic....

I added "$WXWIN/include" to "Addition Include Directorys" in Project -> Project Properties -> C/C++ -> General. If you added it exactly as you posted, then theres your problem. add it exactly like this: $(WXWIN)\include And, if i may give you a sugestion, its a lot easier to just add this path (and...

Thanks for your sugestions guys, ibe tried most of them, and i decided to go with Nvu .
