Yes, but wxCurl isn't on the list..... :)

I have wxCurl that I could tar up and post on my website if needed.

I've not used Databaselayer but I assume it will return an error code/etc if you do a "select * from blah where blah = blah" and it can't talk to the db.

If the error code/etc is "no connection" reconnect and redo the offending query?

You'll need to link curl and wxcurl. Sorry, I'm not at home so can't give you the specific lib names at the moment. :oops:

You might want to check out http://www.sandroid.org/imcross/ as it downloads and builds the appropriate files automatically.

You'll want to use events to pass the information from the network thread to the main thread. Then have the main thread update the GUI.
