Re: How to specify options with wxCURLHTTP?

Hi, In the Get function the curl options are reset using the function SetCurlHandleToDefaults (which calls ResetHandle() and which in turn calls curl_easy_reset). I think you need to add a member variable (and getter/setter functions) for user agent and set the curl options in the SetCurlHandleToDef...

You can also use a simple for loop to delete the content

Code: Select all

for (int i = 0 ; i < projs.size() ; ++i)
{
  EditorWndw* obj = projs.at(i);
  obj->Destroy();
}
projs.clear();
[/code]

Re: Anyone heard of AmiDevCpp

I installed it today but it is most likely based on the latest devc++ rather than wx-DevC++. The new icons and other UIs in the program does not look like wx-DevC++.

You need to install the Microsoft's commandline debugging tools.
Go to http://www.microsoft.com/whdc/devtools/ ... llx86.mspx

and install the one from June 2006. I'm not sure if the 2007 release works with wx-DevC++.

Initially when I created the wxMainMenu in wxDevC++ I tried to make it more like Delphi/BCB but the form designer we are using make it more complicated. So we end up having the MainMenu without the visualization.

Re: wxNotebook

The Notepage page is nothing but a typedef'ed wxPanel. All the components that are added to the Page is part of the Form class itself. So you **can not** create a page and then dynamically use that page. A work around for this is to design the page and then create a new class called CTemplatePage an...

wxWidgets is a beast so you should see atleast 2-3mb of exe size (if you link it statically). If you use wxWidgets with C++ Builder (with the prebuilt wx Lib from http://codepaks.sourceforge.net/gui.htm ) you can get away with 1.7 mb of exe size which can be reduced to 900-700 kb if you use upx. If ...

Re: Showing CheckBox and raising mouse events like listctrl

wxPython components are almost like Delphi components; there are lots of quality components that can embellish your UI. Some people do prefer C++ because there are lots of 3rd party libs and also widely used in the industry and people can leverage their existing skills. Since the api calls are simil...

Switch to wxPython: http://xoomer.alice.it/infinity77/main/freeware.html#hypertreelist ;-) :-D :-D Andrea. I'm not sure how people will migrate to wxPython just for this control :o). Anyway, your approach for adding controls in interesting. I'll try to port the control addition code to the C++ vers...

Also Checkout Turbo C++ and Borland C++ Builder 6.0 Personal.
You can use the prebuilt wx Libs from the CodePaks site.

Check the following links for details.
