Don't destroy your items in the menu, when you open it.
In my app i check the style of my listview when i open the menu. Then i only check the item for this style.

AFAIK there is no wxWidgets function for that.
Why don't you use this function? It is also platform independent.

I had a look in the wxAui source, and they check their events also with the return value from ProcessEvent(). So this should work in my case to.

This is in an other class.
I didn't post it, because the event is not processed.
So i cannot catch the event in another class.

What is wrong with this event class?

I have a gouge, which should send an event when the user used the left mouse button and/or moves the mouse inside the gauge. Here is my code how to process the event, but it never shows the messagebox (is only for testing). void wxSliderGauge::OnLeftDown(wxMouseEvent &event) { int x,y; GetSize(&x, &...

When you download a nighly bild from Code::Blocks create a new wxWidgets Project.
The wizard ask for the wxWidgets version, your projectname with path and then for the path where you installed wxPack.
Then it should compile fine.

hi,

i have a string with a hexadezimal int. e.g.: 0x20.
Is there an easy way to convert this kind of string to a simple integer, char or whatever.

Thanks tan, that solves one of my problems.

Now there is the only problem, that not both threads have access to the list.
