In what way do you connect all the menu items? Can you copy a more descriptive stack trace? Does it assert, or crash? Also, out of curiosity, are you using the MDI framework along with maximizing the child window on open since there is a bug with that in 2.6.0 that's been fixed in CVS (it asserts wi...

That's a tough one, this probably won't fix your problem, but I thought I'd at least note that you could of just done this: this->textSink_choice->SetStringSelection(MyString); As for not being able to change your selection, I'd look closely into your event handler you've tied in with EVT_CHOICE( AN...

Re: Copy plain text to clipboard?

... but it can only copy wxStrings to clipboard? In the case of wxTextDataObject, it's an ease of use feature that since your using wxWidgets, your going to be working with wxStrings. The text is converted as needed with other applications based on your platform when it is copied to the clipboard. ...

Re: wxToolBar & wxFrameLayout

I need the size of a toolbar to fill the cbDimInfo structure. It seems to be necessayr to know the size of the controls that we want to add in a dockbar. When I call the GetSize method of a wxToolBar, the Width is equal to the parent frame's Width and the Height is to large enough.... Last time I p...

I believe it's a worm that exploits the latest PHP exploit that was patched and fixed in 4.3.10 and 5.0.3. The worm consists of some Perl code that looks for any .html files on the server, and replaces the contents with some defacement info including worm generation, then continues to Google search ...

Out of curiosity, you couldn't manage to do this from the main thread with an OnMouse event handler that checked for LeftIsDown()? I should also note that in a case similar to that, I've had issues where because the event handler was being tied up with constant wxKeyEvents, GUI refresh (OnPaint) was...

Sorry it took me so long to get back to this... I've confirmed the behavior, and it does this in 2.5.3 as well. I'm pretty sure it's intended behaviour, and I thought those were color settings you could specify per item. You can set the various color settings through both the wxListCtrl itself I bel...

It may be possible to do it another way, but the best answer I can give is to make the area above the red shown into 2 wxWindows (one inside of the other), with a second wxFrameLayout in between the 2. That would mean you have two separate wxFrameLayouts though, and you can't dock toolbars from one ...

Checking scope and linking member functions would be awesome, but that's going a little far now This may take a while, because it would imply hacking the parser engine. I'd be glad if member functions referenced by pointer would get parsed correctly. So far wxString.Printf() will work while wxStrin...

Doh! Needs some mod to work with C syntax highlighting next ;) Looks like it needs a bit more work on wx detection as well. Notice wxCommandEvent isn't linked, wxString isn't linked in one place, I think either stuff in comments isn't linked at all, or there's something to the effect of why wxString...

I didn't even know that was possible, so I don't have a clue where to find those specs. Is that in VS.NET 2003 or new in 2005 (I know they did a ton of work on intellisense in 2005)?
