Ok, now I set the EventHandler:

stBeschriftung->SetEventHandler(this);
sbmpKnopf->SetEventHandler(this);

But now the static bitmap isn't repainted any more. How can I avoid this?

Ok, I did it and it works perfectly. But how can I process the event I try to connect when I put more of my buttons in my application? // My Button #ifndef LKNOPF_H_ #define LKNOPF_H_ #include <wx/wx.h> #include <wx/event.h> class LStaticText : public wxStaticText { public: LStaticText(wxWindow *, w...

Panel with Elements as Button - Click only works on panel

Hi, I want to write my own button-component. I've got a panel, on this a static bitmap and a static text. In my gui the event is pushed only if I click on the panel, but not on the static bitmap/text. How can I make them pushing the event, too? // lknopf.h #ifndef LKNOPF_H_ #define LKNOPF_H_ #includ...

Did you try using wxID_ANY for the ID?
Thank you, it seems to work.
A simple solution is using a wxPanel on which you create the wxTextCtrl. The wxPanel context will capture the wxTextCtrl change event.
I can't find the function for this. How is it named?

Derive class from wxTextCtrl and catch an OnChange-Event

Hi, I've got to write a program which catches if the user has changed a text in a text-control. But I've many text-controls, so that I wanted to derive a class from wxTextCtrl with a pointer of a bool variable (myTextCtrl(bool &changed, ...)). #define _RTEXTCTRL_H_ #include <wx/wx.h> class RTextCtrl...

Hey, I've got the same problem. I'm using Windows 2000 with mingw (gcc 3.3.2 and wxWidgets 2.6.1) and the example crashes by adding a wxComboBox when I close the application. I'd downloades wxWidgets and compiled it myself. I'd edited the setup.h and enabled unicode and compiled it by: mingw32-make ...
