I have a feeling it's your compiler (which I think is MingW). If you are using MingW then it should work. http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/tcxf1dw6(VS.80).aspx . The other alternative you CAN try is that instead of using uint64_t you can use "unsigned long long" or "unsigned __int64". Joel

After your "new frame(this, ......)", use the returned pointer and call Show(). E.g.

Code: Select all

myFrame* frm = new myFrame(this);
frm->Show();

Yes. If you have many templates it may take a while, this is because we have to iterate over each template to make sure the compiler set thing is correct and exists. I'm not sure if we can fix this though (maybe we can look at it, but I'm not sure)

No, it won't. It will only work on Windows.

Of course, this is the short answer. It is possible to find cross-compilers for Windows that let you compile your programs for another operating system.

*Sigh* To hell with Delphi's lack of destructor functions that can be called when the variable goes out of scope. I am not sure if you can disable it, but think that if you disable code completion it should not appear. I remember fixing this a long time back, I'm not sure if It was merged back to th...

You can't really have a DLL if no functions are declared __declspec(dllexport). The old dllwrap call was a naive (IIRC) dll generation program. Now that we're using g++ -shared it is more "intelligent" Or maybe I'm just equating to Visual C++. If no functions are declared __declspec(dllexport) no .l...

It would be good to click on the 'accept' button thing (at the right of your post) to accept the answer I provided and to "close" the issue.

So correct me if I'm wrong, but you're saying that compiling is fine, but the syntax check doesn't work?

According to http://wxwidgets.org/manuals/stable/wx_wxcombobox.html this isn't documented, so you may have to be careful when porting across platforms.

Okay thanks. I think you can delete the <project name>.layout file in the same folder as the project file. I hope the call tips issue will disappear when we eventually move to Scintilla.

How did you declare your bitmap variable? Is it a pointer?

If it is, you'll have to call DrawBitmap by using DrawBitmap(*bitmap, coord, coord, boolean).
