I think there is not a multi-database method for this in DatabaseLayer, you could implement one for the current database you are using. Could SELECT MAX(id) FROM table; work for you? I believe this could only work when doing single inserts/updates (not in transactions). Supose someone commits their ...

For Firebird database support, you might look at FlameRobin. The have the SQL to retrieve the tables and fields in the getLoadingSql() function in the metadata/database.cpp file. Thanks for the pointer jb_coder, I'll get into that when I have a Firebird DB set up in my box. Also, are there any API ...

Eran I am using wx 2.6.3 (on win XP) with mysql 5.0. Fails every time I click the "Generate" button. (Both my compiled version and the downloaded exe.) I didn't understand the problem - although it fails on a databaselayer function I'm pretty confident thats not the issue. The exception it throws i...

Use regular expressions on buffers of text. If line by line is enough, just read in a line of text from the file and apply the regular expression(s) to it. Would i have to apply the replacements to each line??? How would i do this? (some example code maybe... ;) ) Isn't there a way to load the file...

Is there a virtual mode in wxGrid? Because that's the reason i'm chosing wxListView (wxListCtrl). Sorting is much faster using memory sorting instead of sorting on the control or get the sorted data with an SQL query and iserting it back on the control. Very much faster with large data sets, over 50...
