Thank you for the reply, but... I just recompile the whole wxGTK-2.6.1 to make sure I turned on this option, and I did, but it still gives me this error, and it doesn't recognize the wxMDIXXX classes. I could post the configure output, but it loks like there might be a problem either with wxGTK conf...

Thank you for the reply, upCASE.
Yes I did use it, and the DLL looks to work, but what about other platforms? For example, I am going to test on LINUX/KDE/KDeveloper. Will it compile and run fine? The gcc is more strict, I think....

[SOLVED]: Export whole class from the DLL

Hi, ALL, Did anybody tried to perform a subj? I am currently using the DLL project from the example of upCASE (?)/FAQ, but I put the 2 files with the class definition (.h and .cpp). The DLL itself compiled fine. The project was Win32 DLL. Now I tried to include the .h file in my main program .cpp fi...

Thank you.

Hey, jazz,
Why don't you use "autoincrement" field type and forget about the problem?

Thank you.

From "Inside Visual C++" by David J. Kruglinski 4th Edition When mfc42.dll is loaded as part of a process, it stores data in some truly global variables. If you call MFC functions from an MFC program or extension DLL, mfc42.dll knows how to set these global variables on behalf of the calling process...

Linux/wxGTK didn't compile properly?

Hi, ALL, I am using wxGTK/wxWindows 2.6.1. On Windows everything works as expected. On Linux (using Gentoo/Portage) I compiled the library, but whe I started porting, KDevelop said: You must set wxUSE_DOC_VIEW_ARCHITECTURE to 1 in setup.h! Does this mean the library is not configured properly and I ...

Thank you for sharing this. Now, I decided to go with the wxArray for consistency. Problem I am facing now is that I am receiving the Link error: dialogs.obj : error LNK2001: unresolved external symbol "public: __thiscall CTBArray::~CTBArray(void)" ([email protected]@[email protected]) The array is coming from the ...

Thank you for the reply, Ryan.
Do you mean I should set it in the project settings? In MS VC, it would be under Project -> Settings -> C/C++ -> Preprocessor, right? And what about KDevelop on Linux/KDE?

Thank you.
