About the size; Does it really matter? Can you not afford that wasted 1.42 MB? I consider the benefits in manintainability from C++ vs. plain C far more worth. (I assume you don't just write crappy C-code with come C++ features on top of it?) And I don't see the licensing issue. There is no restrict...

MDI is here to leave. Microsoft itself has deprecated it (yet it sort-of uses it still). MDI as in Mac is a different thing, and a good thing. It doesn't enforce document windows to be inside a parent frame, and that's good. I find the MS MDI approach ideal. It is one of the reasons I would never s...

wxWindow::GetChildren()
Call this from the menu bar, and you should be fine.

You can also call this in each menu to find a certain entry:
wxMenu::FindItem()

As I understand it is a bit tricky to use wx inside a dynamically linked library, since the message loop needs to be executed somehow.

I think it is possible though, and it has been discussed here before.

You need a splitter. I's like a thin line you can drag around. Look at the sample for a demo.

I don't know if it is possible to di it this way. GL windowses are a bit special.

You could try to render to texture and save that texture.

I think the big thing of next-gen languages will be transparent threading and distrubuted computing. The coming Cell concept seems very difficult to fully utilize without high level support for this kind of functionality. I base this on my impression that processors will have a hard time to get much...

My oooold Fujutsi lifebook (the sticker says "optimized for windows 95"!) has like 1 dead pixels and 2 half-dead. And it's amazingly sharp.

After I bought it in 2001, I used it in my 3 yars at university. The most stable PC I've had so far...

To save: (You allready did this.) * Find out in wich file to save. * Open the file for writing. * Gather the data from your page. * Write all the data in you desired fileformat. (one textbox per row?) To load: * Find out with file to load. * Open the f...

You probably don't link with the right *.lib-files. My linker config looks like this: -lwxmsw25_core -lwxbase25 -lwxmsw25_gl -lopengl32 -lglu32 -lwxtiff -lwxjpeg -lwxpng -lwxzlib -lwxregex -lwxexpat -lkernel32 -luser32 -lgdi32 -lcomdlg32 -lwinspool -lwinmm -lshell32 -lcomctl32 -lole32 -loleaut32 -lu...
