Re: Custom folding in a custom lexer with LEX_CONTAINER [SOLVED]

Good morning everyone, if no one did find any big issues yet, I would like to provide a link on the main page for the tutorials so the article can be found. I'll do that later on the weekend. Thank you all for your help! Did not get the time to do mopping I wanted but article itself is good to be l...

Hi,
eranon wrote:Maybe this thread could help you (it talks about an undocumented virtual wxApp::OSXOnShouldTerminate): viewtopic.php?f=23&t=43077

The thread itself is interesting and I believe its discussing something closer. Thank you for it, I will test and update here.

Re: Check if font supports bold

Hi eranon,
thanks for suggestions. I give them a try (the wx's ones).
As of Windows only solution, I'll skip it as my is is required to work the same cross platform

Responding to "Force Quit" in Mac

Is there a Mac specific or otherwise function that responds to force Quit? Here is the specific use case am talking about. In Mac when you start a program accidentally there is an option to force it to quit without even full loading it. All other app works fine except mine. When it is fully loaded I...

Re: Tab Key being eaten

Ok, I see now that ShouldHandleKeyNavigation is a member of the implementation member that the window forwards all of its calls to (I was thinking it was a member of wxWindow itself). So what needs to be done is to derive a new class from wxWidgetCocoaImpl, override ShouldHandleKeyNavigation to mak...

I just tried to apply a patch and here is what I get ./include/wx/stc/stc.h:5413:18: error: 'ShouldHandleKeyNavigation' marked 'override' but does not override any member functions virtual bool ShouldHandleKeyNavigation( ^ In file included from ./src/stc/PlatWX.cpp:46: ./include/wx/stc/stc.h:5413:18...

Re: Tab Key being eaten

Hi. I saw the ticket you created. Can you try adding, #ifdef __WXOSX__ virtual bool ShouldHandleKeyNavigation( const wxKeyEvent &WXUNUSED(event)) const wxOVERRIDE {return false;} #endif //__WXOSX__ to stc.h somewhere in the declaration of wxStyledTextCtrl and rebuilding the libraries. It that f...

Re: Tab Key being eaten

Now I have set my wxWidgets to 2278bb0dfa4aaa252930b7fd5e609f379f1113a6 and it works fine.
I will find sometime to bisect the problem.

Re: Tab Key being eaten

I downloaded wxWidgets 3.1 stable from wxWidgets.org and is working fine with tabs. So this is definitely a bug introduced somewhere.
I know I cannot find anymore time in near future to track it but at least I can rest assured that it is not something wrong with my code!

Thanks everyone!

Re: Tab Key being eaten

I tried the sample you provided, and it appears to work correctly. Tab characters are inserted into the text box when the tab key is pressed. windows 10 wxwidgets 3.1 x64 unicode build visual studio 2015 if you arent using wxw-3.1, you might try diffing the STC stuff with whatever version you're us...

Re: Tab Key being eaten

Can you post the smallest sample that shows the problem? Below is the Notebook Sample modified to add just these lines: wxStyledTextCtrl *stc = new wxStyledTextCtrl(parent, wxID_ANY, wxDefaultPosition, wxDefaultSize, wxTE_PROCESS_TAB|wxWANTS_CHARS); parent->InsertPage( 0, stc, "Scintilla"...
