Builting Codelite/wxcrafter example using CMake

I've successfully compiled this Codelite/wxcrafter example: http://codelite.org/LiteEditor/WxCrafterHelloWorld. It was a hard job, but now I can build and run this example also using CMake - I've written this CMakeLists.txt file for that: cmake_minimum_required (VERSION 3.0 FATAL_ERROR) project (tst...

Re: Static prebuilt libraries

I know about your builts, I' m able to produce the necessary libs, too - but I want to know, for what I need theses libwx*.a files in "wxMSW-3.0.2_gcc481TDM_Dev.7z" archive?

Static prebuilt libraries

In extracted directory of "http://sourceforge.net/projects/wxwindows/files/3.0.2/binaries/wxMSW-3.0.2_gcc481TDM_Dev.7z/download" I found Files with the same file names (libwx*.a) I've got, when compiling wxWidgets myself with the commands D:\_LIB\wxWidgets-3.0.2\build\msw>mingw32-make -f makefile.gc...

Re: link errors after reinstallation

I've found the problem!

I've used gnu.gcc as template, when I added the TDM-GCC-32 compiler to "Built Settings..." compiler.
Therefore gcc was used for linking, which doesn't link automatically against the C++ runtime library like g++.

link errors after reinstallation

A month ago I've installed TDM-GCC-32 4.81, Codelite 6.0, wxWidgets-3.0.1 and boost_1_55_0. I've compiled wxWidgets-3.0.1 with mingw32-make -f makefile.gcc BUILD=debug UNICODE=1 SHARED=0 mingw32-make -f makefile.gcc BUILD=release UNICODE=1 SHARED=0 and boost with b2 --build-dir=C:\_PRG\boost_1_55_0\...

Re: undefined reference during linking wx 3.0.1 app with TDM

May be the problem arise because of differnt usage of unwinding methodes (SJLJ vs DW2) in different parts of your installation.

Re: clash between wxWidgets and Boost::Asio???

The interesting part would be where you include cSMSP.h I can't tell you exactly what to do, but usually this can be solved by changing the order of includes. E.g. first all wxWidgets headers, then other headers, when /msw/winundef.h (in case some of the other headers include windows.h) Yes, that's...

clash between wxWidgets and Boost::Asio???

Codelite6.0/wxWidgets3.0.1/TDM-GCC-32(4.81)/Boost_1_55_0 I've writen a small Program, which reads a CFG-File at StartUp, then it waits for user action. On SaveAs a FileDialog will be started, after selecting a File the program generates dummy data, shows them in a wxTextCtrl and stores the Data in t...

Re: wxRichTextCtrl - memory problem

The first version was without any supression code, therefore I suppose you meant the 3rd version. In fact, I would also suppose, that suppressing Undo before the while loop and ending it after the Append should be have the same effect as suppressing Undo permanently in the constructor - but that isn...

Re: wxRichTextCtrl - memory problem

I've wrapped my code with BeginSuppressUndo() / EndSuppressUndo() as suggested: void cMainFrame::printTRC(cDataCAN& DataCAN, bool inp) { //[ ostringstream ost; : : : while (pPageTRC->GetNumberOfLines() > 200) { pPageTRC->BeginSuppressUndo(); pPageTRC->Delete(wxRichTextRange(0, pPageTRC->GetLineLengt...

Re: wxRichTextCtrl - memory problem

I have checked the memory in use with the task manager and we talk about 300.000k or 3.000.000k (I haven't noticed the exact value, but it was by far the largest of all processes), when my programm traces the CAN bus between control PC an machine over night (the Laptop isn't really "responsable" any...

wxRichTextCtrl - memory problem

It seems, deleting text at begin of a wxRichTextCtrl-buffer, when appending new text at thew end of wxRichtextCtrl-Buffer will not prevent the control from using more and more memory!?!?!? Is there a way to free the unused memory at begin of wxRichTextCtrl-buffer? void cMainFrame::printTRC(cDataCAN&...

I think, you know, pop up and close of your panels can be initiated with EVT_ENTER_WINDOW and EVT_LEAVE_WINDOW events :?:
