Maybe you're right, the event never be implemented. But I just want capture the event when Backspace be pressed. .... EVT_STC_CHARADDED (wxID_ANY, Edit::OnCharAdded) .... void Edit::OnCharAdded (wxStyledTextEvent &event) { // do someting } The method would not be executed when Backspace pressed.

Why I can not capture wxStyledTextCtr key event?l

Hi,
I've written a code editor using wxStyledTextCtrl under windows xp,

Code: Select all

BEGIN_EVENT_TABLE(Edit, wxStyledTextCtrl)
...
EVT_STC_KEY( wxID_ANY , Edit::OnKey )
END_EVENT_TABLE()
When I press any key the method Edit::OnKey never be executed.
Does anybody have the same problem?

The new component wxRibbon is cool!

So I've a idea, wxAui use wxRibbon's art provider?
If that, the application with wxAui will be very beautiful as the wxRibbon.
