Iwebbrowser2 Javascript onQuit event

We use an embedded browser to show a specific webpage that has a rich text editor. This text editor has hooked itself onto some events to detect when the browser tries to close/leave the page. The editor will validate that the latest changes are saved, and if not it will prompt the user to do so. If...

Re: SetWindowVariant - Font is increased too much

I did some testing of SetWindowVariant. Behind the scene SetWindowVariant actually just calls setFont. The suggested solution to just call this on top-level windows works on Windows. But the font inherence is totally broken on MAC. Here we must explicit call SetWindowVariant/setFont on everything. T...

SetWindowVariant - Font is increased too much

Can anyone give me direction on how setWindowVariant is supposed to be used? Inside my application the user can choice between small, medium and large font size. The value is stored and loaded via a singleton. In every constructor for a given control I have implemented code that ask the singleton fo...

wxIEHtmlWin (IWebBrowser2) steals focus

I have an application where I can browse different items in a list. Upon an item is selected, I display information about it in a embedded browser window, beside the list. Behind the scene I generate some html from the item data and pass it to the embedded IE control. I use the wxActiveX (wxIEHtmlWi...

If you use IEHtmlWin inside a wxSplitterWindow some web editors like tinymce will not work as intended. The problem is you are unable to create new paragraph with the enter key, instead the application changes focus to the next control. The problem is inside the spitterwindow class where the style w...

I’m pretty happy with the results I have got now.

To remove the border I did as suggested and doing all the drawing myself.

1. Created new class derived from wxAuiNotebook
2. New derived class from wxAuiDefaultTabArt
3. New derived class from wxAuiDefaultDockArt

I’m actually sitting and trying to get this border away too :) I have found the code that draws the border. It is inside another class. void wxAuiDefaultDockArt::DrawBorder(wxDC& dc, wxWindow *WXUNUSED(window), const wxRect& _rect, wxAuiPaneInfo& pane) What I have done so far is create a new sub cla...

wxAuiNotebook set border around notebook page only

I’m experimenting with the wxAuiNotebook control. I switched to have better control over the background and tab colour. First problem, the notebook kept having a border around itself even though the style wxBorder_None was used. Help was found here: http://forums.wxwidgets.org/viewtopic.php?t=19049&...

Found it. There is nothing wrong with the posted example it will work. The error is inside the code that I did not post because it was pretty complicated. The logic to add controls to the splitterwindow did apparently call show(false) on the splitterwindow. As the splitterwindow was directly added t...

Add inner space in a wxnotebook?

Hello, I have an existing application. Within the frame a notebook is shown. Tabs are created by adding windows to the notebook. The application has worked like this for some time. notebook_ = new wxNotebook(panel_, ID_NOTEBOOK, wxDefaultPosition, wxDefaultSize, wxCLIP_CHILDREN | wxBORDER_NONE); wxS...

Allow google and other robots to index this forum?

As far as I know, robots are not allowed to index the wxforum. Why is this? I would see it as a good feature, as I would much rather use Google to search the forum.

It is reported as a issue:
http://trac.wxwidgets.org/ticket/10930

Can I make my own implementation of this feature?
I have tried to make a new subclass from wxMenu, and this has a function to handle onKey events, but I never receive any events :(
