1) The official wxAUI has the AUI_MGR_LIVE_RESIZE style, which allows you to see the resize of any sashes immediadely instead of drawing the sash on screen. Do you think it would be possible to add this style back to jjn's version of wxAUI? If the answer is yes, where should I look to implement it?...

When you post some patches for wxAUI to Trac by yourself, you may change your mind. :roll:

See what I mean? No patches available in these tickets to even look at reviewing to be applied to SVN trunk except for two tickets. Yet you and jjn claim that all of these issues have been resolved in your patches posted here. We do have an official process for getting patches applied to wxWidgets:...

could you take a look at my thread http://forums.wxwidgets.org/viewtopic.php?t=22934&highlight= and see if you might be able to help? Sorry I'm less interested in wxWidgets now. I'll come back someday, probably when someone fixes #10008 officially... Have you done any more work on these patches? Im...

Of everything here, I'm most suprised by jjn, who while he's linked to the specific tracker issues he's fixed, he didn't actually post the patches into the tracker for each of the issues. Most of these patches would have already been applied if this was done. I was not able to post those fixes as s...

I have implemented a simple minimize pane system. This is built upon the AUDemo3 sources, but it should be implementable against 2.8.9 or whatever. A little time with WinMerge or something like it will result in usable code. I also changed the wxArtProvider source, by adding a new bitmap, and refer...

This is the third test release. Thanks for this. I've made a little changes for compiling with mingw/gcc 4.x Find patch file attached. Also I've found a bug with resizing frame by splitter when main window is not on the top/not focused (e.g. other window or modeless dialog appears in front of this ...

I actually don't mind about my small patches. If I'm going to let the official wxAUI arrive at my modification, HUNDREDS of patches are required. Even if I suppose it takes 1 week for 1 patch, it will take over 2 years. Compatibilities and testing for various platforms are important of course, howev...

But, all said, keep up the good work, we'll get it merged. Ben, do you mean you are thinking to merge my work? I know that you merge some (relatively small) patches, but you didn't merge VS2005 Style Docking and Auto Notebooks. I thought that it was because those patches are too big, so I didn't th...

wxAUI is an official part of wxWidgets. So if the developer of wxAUI is unfavorable to merge patches by other people, then the team of wxWidgets MUST exclude wxAUI (and it's developer) from the trunk (and from the team), because opensource without open-(developer)-mind is useless! The other possibi...

orbitcowboy wrote:Hi @all,

are there planes to merge this improvements of the wxAui class into stable version of wxWidgets? Maybe wxWidgets-2.8.10?? or wxWidgets-3.0??
No, they're not. I am doing it unofficially, because the official developer of wxAUI seems unfavorable to merging patches by other people.

Please, replace condition if (item.GetKind() == wxITEM_NORMAL) on if(item.GetKind() != wxITEM_SEPARATOR) in your code: Sorry, I overlooked it. Then I think that it should be like this: if (item.GetKind() == wxITEM_SEPARATOR) { if (items_added > 0) menuPopup.AppendSeparator(); } else { wxString text...
