wxXmlProperty issue...

Hi, I'm having problems with a method that finds a parameter in a given wxXmlNode (pNode). It works apparently fine, but sometimes it makes the app crash. The problem comes with the wxXmlProperty element, which apparently is Ok (pProps != NULL), but after checking it, when it gets the property value...

Thanks Xaviou and Jorgen for your help ;) Jorgen, I don't understand your suggestions. Finally I've tried to declare a pointer to the wxDir object so as to unlock the directory after releasing it. And it already works :) if (wxDirExists(str) == true) { // Use pointer to wxDir to allow unlock the dir...

Problems removing file system directory with wxWidgets

Hi! I'm trying using wxWidgets wxFileName:Rmdir() or the macro wxRmdir to remove EMPTY directories in my file system, but they always return false. My code is as follows: if (wxDirExists(str) == true) { wxDir dir(str); if (dir.HasFiles() == true || dir.HasSubDirs() == true) return; str.Replace(wxT("...

Vertical txt aligment in a wxTextCtrl with wxNO_BORDER style

Hi! I have a problem with the vertical text aligment of wxTextCtrl object when it has the wxNO_BORDER style set. I want the text inside the wxTextCtrl with a vertical center aligment. It appears so, until I set the style wxNO_BORDER. Does anybody know which property must I configure in order to visu...

Open (drop down) wxChoice event handler (?)

Hi!

Does anybody know if there is defined an event handler that processes a command generated after opening (dropping down) a wxChoice?

There is a EVT_CHOICE, but only processes the command generated by selecting a new choice.

Thanks for your help and time,

Jordi

wxMozilla?

Hi, Anybody knows how implement an embedded browser in a wxWidgets application? It should open complex HTML web pages, for example, supporting Javascript, Flash or Silverlight. Do you know if wxMozilla runs with wxWidgets? I use MS Visual C++ 6.0 environment and wxWidgets 2.8.0 Thanks for your help!...

You might want to look at wxWebkit http://wxwebkit.wxcommunity.com/pmwiki/index.php this might be a little of an overkill though if all you want is to display some simple HTML HTML in wx is problematic ATM if you ask me, you might as well have better success getting the native handle and adding a n...

Silverlight controls in wxHtmlWindow

Hi! I am developing an application in C++ using wxWidgets, and we have considered the option of integrating with wxHtmlWindow a HTML page that contains Silverlight controls. Anybody knows if it could be possible? Or the wxHtmlWindow only shows very simple HTML content (text)? Thanks for your help! J...

Hey mc2r! What happens is that within wxFTP::Connect() if there is some error code returned from the server (for example a 530 because user or password), it calls Close() inside. Because of that, if you call wxFTP::GetLastResult() after wxFTP::Connect() in your own code, you get the 221 from the Ftp...

Checking Ftp server response codes with wxFTP

Hi, I'm developing an application that need checking the Ftp server response codes for some features. I've tried with the wxFTP::GetLastResult() but it is not enough for me. For example, with wxFTP::Connect(addr), it returns "230 Logged on" or "221 Goodbye", but in that last case, I would like to kn...
