Found and fixed the bug :)

We can use configure with --disable-visibility parameter to fix this :)

Thanks for your answer :)

The problem is I can't compile even with minimal parameters :(

Before the "patch" which breaked building, I were building successfully wxWidgets everydays with the same parameters :)

And nobody under Ubuntu ? :)

You could try my TelnetClient class (telnetclient.h and telnetclient.cpp) : http://wxmtpchat.svn.sourceforge.net/viewvc/wxmtpchat/trunk/src/ To use it : - Create a class which inherit from TelnetOutput (you must provide a "void Write(const wxString &line)" method) - Create a client in your class : T...

I'm using Anjuta on Ubuntu and it proposes a wizard for creating a wxWidgets application :)

After that, you only need to add your .cpp and .h files to your project :)

You surely forgot IMPLEMENT_CLASS() macro in the .cpp file for your class :)

With directshow, I only need to "attach" the IVideoWindow to window :) I didn't try with Direct3D and never tried with a transparent window :( Sorry bool wxMyControl::Attach(IVideoWindow* pVideo) { if(pVideo==NULL) return false; if(FAILED(pVideo->put_AutoShow(OATRUE))) return false; if(FAILED(pVideo...

What does happen if you include winsock2.h before wx.h ?

In new Windows SDK, windows.h is including winsock.h excepted if some defines are defined (which ones are also defined in winsock2.h) :)

I'm also using a wxControl derived class :)

Did you handle "EVT_ERASE_BACKGROUND" ? Otherwise wxWidgets will draw a background and it may cause flickering :(

PS: FrozenLogic> Thanks for my first wxAwards :p

If you know DirectX API, you will be able to use DirectX with wxWidgets. I don't see what you need... DirectX uses HWND, which one is provided by wxWindow::GetHandle().

I'm using DirectShow with wxWidgets and it's working perfectly.
