Another question. According to the export path method, the user need to have wxwidgets installed in their computer. Is there any way to distribute the program without the trouble of forcing the user to install wxwidgets? Thank you.

cannot catch spin event

I have a spin control m_JTEXT with a function onImport(wxSpinEvent& )to handle spin event. In another function, I try to change the value of the spin control by m_JTEXT->SetValue(number_J). However, there is no spin event generated. How to solve this problem? Thank you.

i run the command
export LD_LIBRARY_PATH=/usr/local/lib

The windows problem is solved. Thanks a lot.

However, for the linux problem, I run the command
./configure --with-gtk --disable-shared

but the problem remains.

may i know how to know if i had or had not enable shared libraries?

For windows, it says mingwm10.dll is missing. Does it means that if i want to use that program on other computer, i have to install mingw on other computer as well? Or are there other method? For the linux problem, I did "make install". But problem remains. How to create static library to link? than...

i have some functions that deal with complex doubles.

so i have first define the type using

typedef std::complex<double> dcomp;

i need to extract values from a wxGrid and convert the value into the dcomp type as defined above. may i know how to do it? thank you.

Hi, may I know how to set the header col size? I try using wxGrid->SetColSize(-1,0);

to hide the header column, but index 0 refer to the first column while -1 does not refer to the header column.
