Re: Problem with wxChoice and wxToolBar on Windows

Actually the problem was exactly in the value of ID_OBJECT_CHOICE_PUNTO, that was not an unique id in the application. By bad :P
Thanks for your help!

Problem with wxChoice and wxToolBar on Windows

Hi, I have a problem on windows with a wxToolBar that contains a wxChoice. Here is the code that creates the toolbar: m_toolBar1 = this->CreateToolBar(wxTB_HORIZONTAL, wxID_ANY); wxArrayString m_choice1Choices; m_toolBar1->AddTool(ID_ZOOM_IN_STRAT, wxT("Zoom +"), *toolBarBitmaps[0], wxNullBitmap, wx...

I guess you can write an regular expression to check for the min and max range: like between 100 and 200 something like: [1][0-9][0-9]|200 Deriving a new control, won't be good idea just for validation, that the validator job. Thanks for your help. Regex if fine but I think I'll try to derive a new...

Try using the -fvisibility=hidden flag in your project Maybe the problem is the exact opposite, that is: I don't get the warnings if I don't use the fvisibility flag in my project(in fact if I compile the samples adding the flag I get the same warnings). Similarly, everything is fine also if I comp...

The samples build fine from their generated makefile, but I get exactly the same behaviour if I build them with XCode.....

Ps I followed the wiki to create the XCode project

Hi I have exactly the same problem. The wiki just talk about a problem in running under 10.4 binaries made under 10.5
Anyway, I tried the solution suggested but it did not solve my problem.

to Jorgen: We were not really discussing about a pattern, instead we were wondering if we could use the doc/view framework provided by wxWidgets to solve this problem

At the end, I decided to override wxDocManager::CreateDocument() in order to create a view per template, instead of choosing just one template and create the view for it.
If anyone has a better solution, it is very welcome :)

Sincerely I also thought it should be possible! I mean, it's the first thing I thought about when I read about doc/view... but then I gave up, thinking it wasn't possible, also because I did not receive any answer here :P I think I will try again :) If anyone has successfully tried I also would be v...

mmh...sorry maybe I misunderstood your question (but I was somehow mislead by the observation about the observer pattern :P )...maybe we are talking about different things, I mean, what I would like to do is to have different views of the document which are active at the same time, while (I think) a...

I thought you couldn't implement a single doc/multiple view app with the doc/view framework, at least without heavily modify it. (I also started a thread some time ago: http://forums.wxwidgets.org/viewtopic.p ... t=doc+view) Am I wrong? Is it possible?

wxToolbar, strange behavior depending on orientation

Hi! I implemented a little app using doc/view framework. I'm experiencing a strange problem with toolbars. Since i'm developing my application both for Mac and Windows and I would like it to have the commonly expected behavior on the two platforms, I had to implement my own methods to open a new or ...

That is just to set the size of the separator, that is an element that you can add to separate groups of tools. Anyway, thanks for help! :) (o dovrei dire grazie ;) )
