wxAUI movable tabs vs. Perspective

Using wxAUI_NB_TAB_MOVE, wxAUI_NB_TAB_SPLIT and wxAUI_NB_TAB_EXTERNAL_MOVE, I can reorder tabs within a notebook, drag tabs to split a notebook, and drag tabs between notebooks. However, the AUI perspective mechanism does not seem to save/restore the state of these moved tabs. Is this known behaviou...

Hi, PopupMenu returns the success or failure value of popping up the menu. So if you get the menu you'll get true, otherwise (can't give you an example, sorry) you'll get false. It has nothing to do with the option you choose or not from the menu - for a chosen option an event handler is executed, ...

wxWindow::PopupMenu return value

PopupMenu always returns true. Is there any reason why it doesn't (or couldn't) return false if no item was selected?

Alternatively, is there any way to detect this situation after the call returns?

Are you certain that your destructors are not being called? The VS leak detector has (erroneously) reported leaks in my applications before. I could be convinced that the leak detector is lying, but not both it and the debugger. With 2.6.3, if I set a breakpoint in the destructor I hit it. With 2.8...

Apart from you needing to use wxThread::Delete instead of delete thread; it should be alright. I am calling Delete(), but my destructors are not getting called. What leak detector are you using? Nothing fancy - I'm getting a dump in the Visual Studio Output on exit. I have 'new' redefined to give m...

wxThread problems

Just upgraded from 2.6.3 to 2.8.2.

We used to have problems with wxThread not cleaning up properly, but they went away in 2.6.3. Now they are back.

Are there any known issues with deleting wxThreads. I'm seeing memory leaks.
