Displaying a wxCaret in a wxTextCtrl control
I'd like to show a caret in a wxMemo control, like it's shown in Caret sample included in wxWidgets "Examples" folder; but that uses the caret into a wxScrolledWindow ctrl. wxCaret *caret = new wxCaret(this, 6, 10); SetCaret(caret); caret->SetBlinkTime(250); caret->Move(1, 1); caret->Show(...

Colors in disabled components
Now I need a normal wxListCtrl as a report view, that should do nothing in response of mouse clicks, drags, selections etc. The user should not even be able to resize columns. The fastest way to do is to set wxListCtrl1->Enable(false); , but now all is greyed out and it's not good looking. I can't c...

How to modify spinctrl and listbox ?
So, today it's the Day, I have to begin writing my own components to suit my needs :D Well, I'd like to do something like this: 1- a spinctrl that shows a 4 digits, 16 bits Hexadecimal value. It should always show 4 digits, even if there are leading zeros. http://img357.imageshack.us/img357/3396/vmw...

Maybe I found a temporary workaround: try disabling class viewer in the options tab before saving the project and closing. After you open again wxdevcpp and load your project re-enable class viewer, you should see classes tab populating again :D http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/8036/vmwarewinxp01z...

I have class viewer enabler and code completion disabled, and I can't see anything in classes tab. When I start a new project, I may have to disable and re-enable the class viewer option to see that working. But now I worked on my project, saved, closed wxdevc++ and when reopened it again classes ta...
