The issue was solved using the wxVebView with Edge chromium backend available in the wxWidgets 3.1.4

Solved it by switching to visual studio.

About the ChromiumEdge backend I wanted to use that before but was not successful. Does the solution you propose is by using the wxWebViewChromium (https://github.com/sjlamerton/wxWebViewChromium) ?
