Custom native wxTextCtrl

Hey there, I'm trying to give the wxTextCrl a custom skin ( background, text color, caret color, selection color ) I went ahead and though it would be a good idea to start from scratch - so currently I have a nice buggy version of a text ctrl... I then tried to simply overwrite wxTextCtrl and...

Re: wxHTTP weird localhost issue

Alright, had some time to test it again.

It's just weird. I can't get it properly to work. Just fails sometimes and thats obviously bad^^

My current solution is to use libcurl. - When I have more time I will take a closer look into this and do some more debugging.

Thanks for the help btw ;)

Re: wxHTTP weird localhost issue

Content is UTF-8 ( works fine on remote server - well kinda - more on this below ) and yes the recived bytes I get are ok and readable. What I found out, somehow, on the remote server, I also get sometimes just around 4kb instead of 5kb. Again, the content I recive is ok and it's UTF-8. ( text is UT...

Re: Semi-transparent repaint problem

Yep that works fine, big thanks. But I wonder if there is another way without calling the parent / TopWindow. When I move the image out of the screen or minimize it, it's get's cleared without any background color and the image is only drawn one time. This also happens if I use hide() and show() on ...

Re: wxFrame transparent background color is black

I'm not 100% sure that i understood what you want to do. But if you want the background of the frame, e.g. the desktop or other applications behind it, to shine through, you must set the shape accordingly. But this will only give you a 1-bit mask, so you will see either the background or your image...

wxFrame transparent background color is black

Hello guys, I'm trying for over 8 hours now to make a custom themeable wxFrame. First of all, it's for Windows only, but I cross platform is always prefered.
