ODBC - UnixODBC

Hi all. I have developed a program (on windows 7) that reads the data to be processed from a Microsoft SQL Database using an ODBC connection. It works perfectly. Now I wanted to know if the class that I used on windows can also be used on Linux with unixODBC or if I have to use a specific library. T...

Re: wxMathPlot & printer

I tried to use printout.MapsSreenSizeToPaper but without success. I probably have not figured out how to do. I attach the project Demo (Code :: Blocks 12.11) of wxMathPlot if anyone cares to see if there is a solution https://mega.co.nz/#!VhYW3CbT!P1X3Kk7Vb-FDv1-2iAtB5xKyhcMQhMceJiqobLxkZxA Thank yo...

wxMathPlot & printer

Hello everyone I still have a little problem with wxMathPlot. I can't understand (but is still due to my lack of knowledge of wx libraries) because when I print a graphics the texts become very small and the grid very dense. I think it's due to the resolution of the printer and the same problem also...

wxMathPlot & SaveScreenshot

Hi all I am developing a small program to view and analyze data by means of graphs son with the library wxMathPlot ( http://wxmathplot.sourceforge.net/ ) . For the moment, I find that the library works fine but I ran into a problem (probably stupid). After drawing the graphs on the screen I need to ...

Re: Setting Code::Blocks

I wrote a short tutorial for Windows, in the hope that it will be usefull to someone , for the installation and configuration of code :: blocks to work with MinGW installed separately and the library wxWidgets compiled from source. The tutorial is written in Italian , from the link below you can rea...

Re: Setting Code::Blocks

I read some documentation and found that I don't need to modify the compilation switches reported in the previous post .
So I can mark the post as resolved.

Many thanks to manolo for pointing me in the right direction. :D

Re: GTK library

I'm using Linux Mint Mate and so I just installed the GTK 2. I think the package to be installed is something along the libwxgtk2.9.... To be sure which package is to be installed on the machine that tells you the error, on the machine where you have developed the application runs the command: dpkg-...

Re: Setting Code::Blocks

I finally compiled wx using MinGw from the command prompt in Windows and codeblocks recognizes them. I compiled using only the option of BUILD, namely:    mingw32-make.exe-f makefile.gcc BUILD = release    mingw32-make.exe-f makefile.gcc BUILD = debug Then, I created a project wx, I set codeblocks t...

Re: Setting Code::Blocks

Hello I'm compiling as you suggested and actually compile times have lengthened a lot so I think that, as you told me, is not the same thing using the shell :D :D As soon as I finished to compile will let you know if Code :: Blocks recognizes the libraries. For the moment, thank you very much :wink:

Re: Setting Code::Blocks

The image below is the bash shell mingw that can be launched from the Start menu of Windows. To compile from the command line using this bash I have to copy the project in : C: \ MinGW \ msys \ 1.0 \ home \ francesco http://www.flussiliberi.it/wp-content/uploads/2012/10/MinGwShell1.png This shell al...

Setting Code::Blocks

Hi all I used a little code :: blocks and WxWidget on linux without any problems (I'm a beginner). Now I am trying to use it on Windows 7 and I have some problems. I decided to use Mingw-get-inst to install the compiler. Then I unpacked the sources for wxWidgets 2.8.12 in the home folder of mingw wh...
