I think I've found a bug... When I close a tab, events seem to be fired in this order: CLOSING CHANGING CHANGED CLOSED Makes sense. However, within my CHANGING function, if I do an event.GetOldSelection(), I would expect to get the ID of the page that is being (but has not yet been) closed. Instead,...

Re: Email Client Development...GoDaddy Spam Filter

Hello. I am looking right now for library for sending emails. Could You be so kind and share what did You use in Your program? Hi, As I mention above, I used this method: http://forums.wxwidgets.org/viewtopic.php?t=8988&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=smtp&start=15 It works well, but I never did...

wxRegKey...Windows limited accounts?

Hi, I'm using wxRegKey to write file associations to my application in the registry. It works well. However, if they user is logged in as a limited user in Windows, they get an error: "Can't set value of..." Is there a way to tell if the user is a limited user, so I don't try to write to the registr...

Accessors: Ctrl-[, Ctrl-], Ctrl-., Ctrl-,

How do I set up accessors with '[', ']', '.', or ','? I've tried both wxAcceleratorTable and just the regular "blah blah\tCtrl-[", and neither seem to work. Is it possible to set accessors using these keys?

Thanks,
Tom

Ah, sorry, wxSocket. I didn't have much luck with wxSMTP or wxEmail, so I'm basically using this method that someone was nice enough to post (slightly modified): http://forums.wxwidgets.org/viewtopic.php?t=8988&postdays=0&postorder=asc&highlight=smtp&start=15 These are the headers that I'm getting: ...

Email Client Development...GoDaddy Spam Filter

Hi All, I'm adding email simple send-mail capabilities to an application written in C++. I have everything working via SMTP just fine, but when I send emails to any of my addresses that are hosted by GoDaddy, they disappear into their Spam filter, without any sort of comment about why. I imagine GoD...

Mailing lists seem to be down

I don't know who to tell about this, but the wxWidgets mailing lists seem to be down. I haven't received anything from them since yesterday, there's nothing new showing up here:

http://lists.wxwidgets.org/cgi-bin/ezml ... :ddp:0:0#b

And I tried to post something, and it hasn't shown up...

wxRichTextCtrl style comparison

How would I compare wxRichTextCtrl styles? For instance, if I've formatted a page with a handful of styles, and I want to check if the character at position 24 is the style that I've named "redStyle", how would I do that? I can use GetStyle() to return the style, but how do I compare that to my "red...

Thanks, but that is exactly what I'm doing, and while I can call wxGetApp() from the application class, I can't call it from the window class. Application.h #ifndef _RICHTEXTCTRLTEST_H_ #define _RICHTEXTCTRLTEST_H_ #if defined(__GNUG__) && !defined(NO_GCC_PRAGMA) #pragma interface "richtextctrltest....

wxGetApp "identifier not found"

I have a simple application with one window. I have 4 files: a .cpp and an .h file for the application and a .cpp and an .h file for the window. In the application's .h file, I call DECLARE_APP(AppClass), and in the application's .cpp file, I call IMPLEMENT_APP( RichTextCtrlTestApp ). I do include "...
