MSW Icon

Hi,

I know that icon app on windows can be set in app_name.rc
-----
myicon ICON "myicon.ico"
#include "wx/msw/wx.rc"
-----

This is for a 32x32 icon.
What about 64x64 icon ?

Any suggestion ?

thanks

see wxLogStderr and wxLogStream. wxLogStderr can be used to redirect error mesages to a file. Thanks, Lloyd Lloyd, you have to change it in msw/setup.h #if wxUSE_STD_IOSTREAM // log everything to an "ostream", cerr by default class WXDLLIMPEXP_BASE wxLogStream : public wxLog I would like to share m...

Log

Hi,
I would like to create two log file: compute.err and compute.log.
Have I to use wxLogMessage for log and wxLogError for error ?

Anyway under windows wxLogStream it's not defined,
so I cannot use it.

Any suggestion ?

try to replace IMPLEMENT_APP (MyApp); by IMPLEMENT_APP_CONSOLE (MyApp); You will probably also need to implement OnRun. Thanks Benedicte, but compiler give me the same result as above. Console, in general, means wxUSE_GUI=0 ? Again, a console program or a win services or DLL can be develop with wxU...

What is the value of argc? What is your complete command line? BTW, here is a post about command line parsing. If you don't need your own entry point in your app, you can use wxWidgets way of testing app parameters. Benedicte: Debug mode: arc = 3 argv[0] = program name path argv[1] = null argv[2] =...

ahh ! Stupid man ... it was in front of me

Anyway that doesn't fix my issue.

argv[1] in debug mode is always null.

Benedicte,
to clarify better, my need is to debug (VC++6) my app with given arguments.

Is there a way in VC to set args before start debug ?

Anyway, I'll check IMPLEMENT_APP_NO_MAIN.

Thanks

I don't understand why you use a "main" function... You should do this only with IMPLEMENT_APP_NO_MAIN (if you have you want your own entry point, for DLL projects for example). Look for IMPLEMENT_APP_NO_MAIN in this forum, you will find answers. hmmm, I'll check it. There is at least one sample in...

You should post your code here for us to see. int realmain(int argc, char *argv[]) { printf("-------------%s",argv[1]); <-- blank only in debug mode !! ................................code wxCmdLineParser parser(cmdLineDesc, argc, argv); ...............code } int main(int argc, char *argv[]) { int ...

wxCmdLineParser

Hi. In my console.cpp, wxCmdLineParser check well all arguments, but my code is wrong somewhere. I would like to debug my app console (VC++) setting in the code the needed arguments. I have created a wrapper for main() where I set my args. If I run it normaly Parse() parse ok. (parse parse.....:-) I...
