You might have better luck with a thread name that actually describes your problem.

Re: frame styles for different OS's

Indeed this doesn't seem to be awfully well-documented Huh? I hardly imagine how better could that be documented. http://www.wxwidgets.org/manuals/2.6.1/wx_cppconst.html Right - sorry - I didn't see that page. I just saw that the `conditional compilation' page didn't contain any useful information,...

I am a newbie in programming with wxWindows. Where do I have to send a message (what address) to inform the devs? If you have a patch, read http://wxwidgets.org/technote/patches.htm and use http://sourceforge.net/tracker/?group_id=9863&atid=309863 Else, you only have a bugreport, in which case you ...

Re: frame styles for different OS's

It took me hours to find that out in my app. That should really be mentioned in the Validator doc. Did you know there now is a portal to the wxWidgets docs that allows you to add notes? I added yours here: http://wiki.wxwidgets.org/docbrowse.cgi/wxwin_validatoroverview.html#validatoroverview Feel f...

Re: Strange problem with pointers

class MyFrame : public wxFrame { public: wxTreeCtrl *tree; //creating wxTreeCtrl etc. Maybe it'd help to declare the tree as a MyTreeCtrl() instead of a wxTreeCtrl? (if that were the problem i suppose the compiler should've complained, but i don't see anything else obviously problematic here. Maybe...

I have it a quick shot: http://bzzt.net/~arnouten/wxautocombobox

only SetSelection() doesn't appear to be working correctly. Any ideas about that anyone?
