Without more information, my best guess would be that wxID_DIGTABLES is not unique and triggers something else in your program. I tryed to use new id but the end is the same I have global enum , this implementation can make it not unique enum { Console_ID = wxID_HIGHEST +1, .... wxID_DIGTABLES, ......

I catched in similar project when I get this bug - after including additional libraries (non wx)
such as

#include <iostream>
#include <fstream>

What shoul I do to fix it in vs2012? What project properties?

Yes , I connect textenter mesages (events) also to the MyFrame in it's constructor where everything and the "console" is created? wich gives the texteter events

Also, if you're decompressing a jpeg, performance can't be *that* critical. Why don't you use the "normal" ways of loading an image?
