wxClientDC problem

Hi, I'm having a problem with OGL and wxClientDC. I'm using OGL to diaplay a line(wxLineShape). I want to change the pen the line is drawn by. I found the color did not change, so I added code to redraw the shape. The function below is called indirectly by an OnTimer event, but it halts at getting t...

The closest thing I know of is the mahogany project - http://mahogany.sourceforge.net It is an open source mail client that uses POP3.

I'm using OGL, so it's the OGL canvas, which is displayed in an MDI child frame. The header is as you thought class TrackAssocChoiceDialog : public wxSingleChoiceDialog { public: TrackAssocChoiceDialog(wxWindow* parent); void OnOK(wxCommandEvent& event); void OnCancel(wxCommandEvent& event); void On...

Check you have compiled all the functions the component needs into the dll. If you are using gcc or MinGW you need to link it before the wx libraries. It might be easier to create a static library first.

I wanted a version of wxMultipleChoice Dialog which would be non-modal, so created an inherited class of it and overrid all the functions which called EndModal() with an equivalent that called Show(false) Unfortunately whenever the dialog was hidden control did not return to the parent window, it be...

I've never actually used ODBC with wxwidgets but I have used excel files with ODBC.
All computers with excel installed can use an excel spreadsheet as as DSN with ODBC. Each sheet is a table, headings in row 1 are the field names and everything down from there is data for each column.
Hope this helps.

You need to check if these classes need wxCore or not. wxCore should not be used for console-mode apps.

After a bit more investigation I have concluded the problem is caused by my compiler(MinGW), so I guess wxdev-cpp is in the clear.

When the wxCHMController is destroyed, it has to do things like unloading the CHM runtime file. In turn doing this depends on other parts of wxwidgets. So destruction of the object has to happen while all of wxwidgets is still initialized. So the code will crash during destruction of the helpcontrol...
