Hm, is this a childwindow of the frame ? Because then, you shouldn't delete it, wxWidgets does that for you. That piece of code with wxSplitter is from wxWindows sources, not from my code. Debugger points me there after crash. I have splitter with glCanvas and panel on my frame window. And I've jus...

Crashing program

Hi, I use OnIdle event to paint in wxGLCanvas. I call function of main frame from OnPaint of glCanvas by pointer returned by GetParent(). When I do this, program crashes when it's closed or during returning from minimized state. When I don't call this function of mian frame everything is OK. That fu...

But why operator const char*() const does not work automatically?
It seems to work in windows (I've never had to add .c_str()), in linux there is a run time crash :D

So I have to create a variable to store a check state? But when I try to change the toolbar button state in the menu event it doesn't work - toggling toolbar button changes menu state, but toggling menu doesn't change the state of the toolbar button.

How to connect menu item with toolBar?

Hi,

I have a checkable menu item and toggle toolBar button. Is it possible to connect them in such way that menu item is checked/unchecked automatically then I toggle toolBar button and vice versa?

Do you have the same problem?
Can you show me a piece of code which creates a toolbar in your application?

Toolbar and wxIFM

How to create toolbar in applicaton using wxIFM? When I do it in such way: wxToolBar *toolBar = new wxToolBar(frame, -1, wxDefaultPosition, wxDefaultSize, wxTB_FLAT | wxTB_DOCKABLE); toolBar->AddTool(MNU_FILE_NEW, new_xpm); toolBar->Realize(); frame->SetToolBar(toolBar); the toolbar is created corre...

I was merely suggesting that you put #include <string.h>. in your code. You can't just put it anywhere, you have to have it *before* wx/buffer.h is parsed. my guess, is just put it before the #include wx/IFM or whatever. Did you use wx/buffer.h before hand, and after you installed IFM, it broke? or...

But is this a normal situtation that I have to change the sources of wxWidget (wxWidgets-2.6.0\include\wx\buffer.h(96)) ???
It's a bit strange that I have to do it after downloading wxIFM.

I don't understand your sentence: "...before the function thats used it is parsed".

Should I modify the sources of wxWidgets?

Hi! wxWidgets "supports" exceptions (catching uncaught exceptions) starting with 2.5.x. Try like this template<typename T> void Array<T>::insert(int i, const T& e) throw (std::out_of_range) { if(i<0 || i>size); { const char *errMsg = "Index out of bounds"; throw std::out_of_range(errMsg); } } My co...

Problem with compiling wxIFM

I get such error: d:\wxWidgets-2.6.0\include\wx\buffer.h(96) : error C3861: 'strdup': identifier not found, even with argument-dependent lookup How should I configure wxIFM project to compile it? My include list: include;.\;$(WXWIN)\lib\vc_lib\mswud;$(WXWIN)\include\;$(WXWIN)\include\wx Does the loc...

I've found something. I already know when my program crashes but I still don't know why. I have a member function: template<typename T> void Array<T>::insert(int i, const T& e) //throw (std::out_of_range) {//here stops the pointer of the debugger and the execution jumps to evtloop.cpp assert(i>=0 &&...
