[MinGW] Undefined references to assert handlers

Hello, I've just compiled wxWidgets 2.94 under Windows 8 RTM 64-bit in all possible combinations with SHARED, MONOLITHIC and BUILD. All were successful except the monolithic builds: wxWidgets-2.9.4\build\msw>mingw32-make -f makefile.gcc SHARED=1 MONOLITHIC=1 BUILD=debug wxWidgets-2.9.4\build\msw>min...

Re: wxWidgets and Visual Studio 2012 -- your experience?

Hello pepr and tierra, I've successfully built wxWidgets 2.9.4 source with Visual Studio 2012 For Desktop. I had also some problems using the project files, therefore I used the command line tool nmake.exe for compiling it. I've set up an online repository on GitHub with the binaries: https://github...

Thanks.
I've downloaded an archive from here and extracted to wxSVG\src\agg\.
Now I want to compile it, but where do I find the makefile for GCC/MinGW?

Looking for a SVG renderer

Hello to all! I am looking for a SVG renderer for wxWidgets, of course there should be a cross-platform compatibility. I found wxCairo but I didn't see anywhere the sources! At the download page there is only a static library for Windows offered. The next library I found was wxSVG on SourceForge. Bu...

so you would basically need to write a C++ compiler that generates Javascript I wouldn't convert the C++ code into JavaScript. I would change many classes (wxButton for example) so that they can generate HTML code. And the program runs on the server (like PHP or Perl) and outputs the HTML code (or ...

Why do you think that this will be hard work?
I think you could use the hierarchy of the objects in wxWidgets (parent window, ...) to generate the HTML code easily.

But GWT is in Java...I will search for other toolkits.

(At the moment I haven't a team :D)

New port

Hello, I had the idea to start a new port, not for an operating system but for websites. You write C++ (or another language) and the output is HTML (maybe also CSS, JavaScript) code. What do you think? Regards ComFreek! PS: I didn't really understand how to subscribe to a mailing list, so I wrote in...

Which version of wxWidgets should I download & install?

Hello! can you help me? I don't really know which version of wxWidgets is the official one. I am confused because under News & Events I read: wxWidgets 2.9.1 has been officially released ... and on SourceForge the same. But under the download section of wxWidgets.org I read: Current Stable Release: ...
