Re: undefined reference to `[email protected]'

To doublemax: Thanks, its works. I do have tried the minimum sample given with codeblocks 17.12, but it does not include the two missing librairies lUxTheme and oleacc: mingw32-g++.exe -LC:\wx311\lib\gcc_lib -o bin\Debug\test.exe obj\Debug\testApp.o obj\Debug\testMain.o obj\Debug\resource.res -mthre...

Re: How to get XID of a wxPanel ?

For the records:
1) Add `pkg-config --cflags gtk+-2.0` to compiler flags

2)
#include <gdk/gdk.h>
#include <gdk/gdkx.h>
#include <gtk/gtk.h>
...
GtkWidget* widget = panel->GetHandle();
gtk_widget_realize(widget);
XID = GDK_WINDOW_XWINDOW(widget->window)

This should compile without error.

Re: How to get XID of a wxPanel ?

I progress, but not yet OK... :( I have add `pkg-config --cflags gtk+-2.0` in my compiler options. For newbies in Linux like me, please note that it is not the same 'pkg-config --cflags gtk+-2.0' ("`" IS NOT "'") GtkWidget* widget = this->GetConnectWidget(); gtk_widget_realize(widget); compile witho...

Re: How to get XID of a wxPanel ?

Yes, it seems I have a problem with my compiler options... /usr/include/gtk-2.0/gtk/gtk.h is present I use codeblocks as IDE for editing/compiling. I only have `wx-config --version=3.0 --static=yes --unicode=yes --debug=yes --cflags` in the compiler flags settings, and this command products: -I/usr/...

Klingon between Linux app & win app

I use wxWidget to communicate between two computers, by sockets or by binary files. One side is Linux build, the other MSW build. I want to send a wxString with may contains a foreign word (may be in Japanese, Klingon, or other not-ASCII langage). Unfortunatly, something as simple as: MySocket << my...
