Oh, you are right, my OS is in English. I didn't think that it depends on the operating system. Thank you.

wxDirPickerCtrl and wxFilePickerCtr -Changing Name of Button

Hi,

wxDirPickerCtrl and wxFilePickerCtrl has a button labeled "Browse". I suppose, it mustn't be constant to allow software creation in other languages.

Am i right or just missing something?

SQLite

Hi, i am trying to use SQLite with a simple wxWidgets project in Code::Blocks. (I can use it in a console app). I copy sqlite3.c to my project folder and add it to the project. Then, i add the path of the folder which includes sqlite3.h to the project's compiler search directories. While compiling, ...

How can i create new StaticBitmaps at runtime? I tried something like this, and surprisingly it -limitedly- works: void dynamicFrame::OnButton1Click(wxCommandEvent& event) { const long inmf1Frame::ID_STATICBITMAP1 = wxNewId(); StaticBitmap1 = new wxStaticBitmap(Panel1, ID_STATICBITMAP1, wxNullBitmap...

Thank you very much.

But the question about adding components dynamically stands still. I would really appreciate if anyone could show the way to solve the other half of the problem.

Adding and Deleting Components at Runtime

Hi, I need to add or delete components such as StaticBitmaps dynamically. For example, the user enters a number and that number of images are read in sequence from a directory and shown side by side, when a button is pressed. If another button is pressed, all of them get released, deleted, whatever....

Bug?

Hi, On MSW, if a wxButton is placed over a wxPanel, and when that button is focused, pressing return key acts same as clicking the button. It does not surprise me. But, if i place that wxButton over a sizer (FlexGridSizer), return key does nothing. Is it a bug, or is it just because of my lack of re...

Getting info from TextCtrl to an Sqlite Query

I'm lost in data types. char *sql; sqlite3_stmt *stmt; sqlite3 *db; // sql = ... // Problem is here! sqlite3_prepare(db, sql, strlen(sql), &stmt, NULL); I want something like this: sql = "Select * from people where name='" + TextCtrl1->GetValue() + "';"; I can't convert using mb_str, strcpy, etc; I ...

Calling Layout() on panel or on first sizer worked. And also i needed to call that on ScrolledWindow1, to fit images correctly.

But, i still wonder how to use Layout() and SendSizeEvent() for the frame with a button click.

Thank you.

ScrolledWindow and Enabling Scrollbars

Hi, here is a newbie in trouble with scrollbars. I use CodeBlocks and wxSmith with MinGW. I need to show three images that are opened by a FileDialog side by side, and fit them in a scrolled window. I put a panel into the frame and a FlexGridSizer into it. (This way I can set the frame's initial siz...
