Okay, if anyone does, it is not someone who frequents the forum. And at any rate this may be helpful to someone else. I am not a bakefile expert, I am really kinda clueless on what I should be including in this file, but here is my wx_osx.bkl. Perhaps someone will be able to improve on this and at i...

wx_osx.bkl

Does anyone have a good pressets bakefile for wxWidgets? I just found out that bakefile can generate xcode projects, tweaked the settings in the bakefile and watched it do it's magic. Way better than placing all the files myself, creating frameworks, etc. It just isn't quite right with a tweaked msv...

Reading back on my post, I realize I was not specific in what the problem was. The wxStaticBitmap connects just fine to the pop-up menu and retains functionality, but the bitmap is not displayed on Mac, and it is displayed on Linux and Windows. So, now I have settled on using wxBitmapButton. With th...

wxStaticBitmap wxMac 2.8.10

I've got a bitmap that should display, and when you click on it, it opens a popup menu. This works fine on linux and windows and I cannot see a reason why it doesn't work on Mac. wxBitmap itemStaticBitmap3Bitmap(rightarrow_xpm); wxStaticBitmap* itemStaticBitmap3 = new wxStaticBitmap( headerPanel, ID...

XCode

Assuming you are using Xcode, just change the product name to whatever your application is. This is also located in the info.plist file.

Try setting the arch flags. I compile on Snow leopard by setting these flags, then ./configure --enable_unicode --disable_shared, and it worked fine.

See the Wiki about setting arch flags.
Note: I did not use wxosx_cocoa. I used wxMac.

I've actually just linked the lack of keystroke response to the native implementation of wxlistctrl on Mac.

Using the generic mode, the code shown above works fine.

Got it to work... for me

Okay, so went back and started looking at it again, and it boiled down to me selecting the wrong build setting before building and going. I guess x86_64 (64 bit applications) are not available in wxMac 2.8.10? At any rate, only changing these settings didn't work:pic 2 I also had to change the actua...

Not working for me.

I built like so: arch_flags="-arch i386" ./configure --disable-shared --enable-unicode CFLAGS="$arch_flags" CXXFLAGS="$arch_flags" LDFLAGS="$arch_flags" OBJFLAGS="$arch_flags" OBJCXXFLAGS="$arch_flags" Makes just fine, but when building the Xcode Project from a Cocoa app and deleting the files from ...

include

Thanks for the quick reply, but I am still getting the same error.

I think I am missing the definition of wxSystemOptions. Are there any #include lines that I need to have in this file?

Generic wxListCtrl in Report Mode (wxMac)

So far as I can tell, wxlistctrl on mac in native mode does not respond to EVT_LIST_COL_CLICK if it is a wxLC_VIRTUAL listctrl. And the current possible workaround is to set the wxSystemOption mac.listctrl.always_use_generic. However, I cannot find an example of how to do this. I attempt to do it in...

Got it!

Okay, so here's the answer. I got to thinking about why 'd' or 'D' worked as well as Delete for marking transactions and nothing else did. Have a look at this code: void MyListCtrl::OnChar(wxKeyEvent& event) { switch ( event.GetKeyCode() ) { case 'v': case 'V': case 'r': case 'R': case 'u': case 'U'...

Thanks for you help

Thanks for you help by the way Auria. I've changed my definition to: listCtrlAccount_ = new MyListCtrl( this, itemSplitterWindow10, ID_PANEL_CHECKING_LISTCTRL_ACCT, wxDefaultPosition, wxDefaultSize, wxLC_REPORT | wxLC_HRULES | wxLC_VRULES | wxLC_VIRTUAL | wxLC_SINGLE_SEL | wxWANTS_CHARS ); But, it i...

Yes it has focus (at least it is highlighted from a mouse click) when I attempt to pass the key strokes. But only Delete and 'd' actually work. Here is the creation of the list control. listCtrlAccount_ = new MyListCtrl( this, itemSplitterWindow10, ID_PANEL_CHECKING_LISTCTRL_ACCT, wxDefaultPosition,...
