Re: wxWebView call C++ function from javascript

Using wxWidgets 3.1 you could do window.open in javascript and then catch that event (EVT_WEBVIEW_NEWWINDOW), inspect URL and conditionally fetch content from javascript. I am using hidden textarea html element and then run wxWebView->RunScript to obtain it's content - there's an example in document...

Re: gui app and byte array on Mac OSX

Yes, I tried that. It makes no difference. I didn't have time to experiment further. But I will in a week and I was checking clang linker options and perhaps one of those will change the outcome: /Gw- Don't put each data item in its own section /Gw Put each data item in its own section /Gy- Don't pu...

Re: gui app and byte array on Mac OSX

Here is what I've done already: Included header in my file and compiled in one step - wrong image again. Filled QR_m_data with zeroes (that get's done also in QR lib's code), but I tried it anyway without good result. Called qr_encode with wxExecute and read the file it produced - this works as it s...

gui app and byte array on Mac OSX

In my wxWidgets (v3.0.1) application I get data for QR image creation from byte array. BYTE QR_m_data[3917 ]; // BYTE = typedef for unsigned char, bits in this array designate image white/black squares This array get's filled up by QR-image-embedded library when passed as a parameter to EncodeData f...

Re: Exit wxApp?

I know this is an old thread but my app was also crashing, so I finally figured out it had to do with disconnect event code in MyTaskBarIcon class destructor. When I removed that, I just call parent frame Destroy() method from MyTaskBarIcon method: class MyFrame : public wxFrame { public : MyTaskBar...

Re: Cannot compile my project - webview not defined (v 2.9.5

Regarding network issue I believe you have a problem because your ubuntu is not supported anymore and repositories might have moved. You will have the same problem with 11.04 (as I did). Here are saved notes I made during installation: wxWebView Ubuntu 11.04 http://askubuntu.com/questions/91815/how-...

Re: wxWebView OnNewWindow unix problem

Looks like fresh ticket for this problem already exists, but reporter has problems with mouse right click and "Open in new window":

Re: wxWebView OnNewWindow unix problem

Tnx. Will do that. Do you know if there is any other way to invoke OnNewWindow method?
I am not sure if this was meant to be triggered from javascript or otherwise.

wxWebView OnNewWindow unix problem

I am having problems with wxWidgets 2.9.5 wxWebView sample. wxEVT_WEBVIEW_NEWWINDOW event is not being triggered on my linux(ubuntu 11.04) and osX(mountain lion) when javascript window.open method is called. It works without problems on my windows 7. Is there something special I need to do (compile-...

I installed VC++ 2008 Express and tried compiling in WxDev C++ with VC compiler. As you can see I get similar error ( no Project1App.cpp file ): Compiler: Default VC2008 compiler Building Makefile: "C:\wxd\Makefile.win" Executing make... mingw32-make.exe -f "C:\wxd\Makefile.win" all "cl.exe" /nologo...
